Ingredients
  

For the Dip:

  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

For the Pecans:

  • ¾ cup pecans (toasted or candied, plus extra for garnish)

Optional Add-ins:

  • 1 tbsp caramel sauce (for garnish)
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

For Serving:

  • Graham crackers, apple slices, pretzels, or vanilla wafers

Instructions
 

Toast or Candy the Pecans:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Spread pecans in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Toast for 5–7 minutes, stirring halfway through. Let cool.
  • Optional Candied Pecans: Toss pecans with 1 tbsp melted butter and 1 tbsp brown sugar before toasting for 8–10 minutes.

Prepare the Cream Cheese Base:

  • Allow cream cheese to soften at room temperature for 20–30 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, brown sugar, butter, and vanilla extract.
  • Beat with an electric mixer or whisk until smooth and creamy.

Combine Ingredients:

  • Fold in ¾ cup toasted or candied pecans. Reserve a few pecans for garnish.
  • Optional Add-ins: Stir in cinnamon, caramel sauce, or mini chocolate chips for extra flavor.

Serve and Garnish:

  • Transfer the dip to a decorative serving bowl.
  • Garnish with reserved pecans and drizzle caramel sauce on top for presentation.
  • Arrange dippers like graham crackers, apple slices, or pretzels around the bowl.

Notes

  • Pair with dippers like fresh fruit, shortbread cookies, or crispy bacon for unique flavor combinations.
  • Customize the dip with chocolate chips, maple syrup, or a sprinkle of cayenne for a spicy-sweet twist.
